Don't bother complaining to HR about anything because they have no obligation to help you under their guidelines. doesn't matter if you have a relative in the hospital, dying on life support, you will get fired if they want to be complete dick heads about it, because they can. doesn't matter if a big rig over turned and backed up traffic for hours, you will get written up for it. do you know what that means? well, basically.there is NO valid reason why you can be late. if this is how they do it in vegas, this is not vegas. I've heard of how corporate employers treat employees and this has to be the worst yet. the victim notified HR of the harassment, even had the texts her boss was sending her, she ended up getting fired, the pervert still works there. There's even rumors of a sexual harassment suit going on. They truly do not give a damn if you have to miss work because your kid is in the emergency room. his doctor told him that he was showing symptoms of the H1N1 virus even had a doctors diagnosis handy, still had to come to work in fear of getting fired. Another employee, I believe it was valet, or house keeping, had to come to work after he went to the doctor. and from what I've witnessed, some depts can be ok, I guess?. They treat people like garbage, well in my dept. If you believe in fair employee treatment, do not go here.
